Teach Your Children How to Say NO Graciously
It sure isn’t easy to say “no” with grace.
There are ways to be firm but kind and polite. As an adult, it's a learned skill. One that needs to be taught to our children.
Do not assume your children will just know how to say “no”.
Some circumstances demand a very direct “no” such as in conditions that are morally unacceptable. Most of the time though, we just need to get our answer across without harming, embarrassing, or hurting the other person.
